The First Victorian Doll House Ornament

This very unique ornament is inscribed on three (3) sides with

2. The First Victorian Doll House Ornament
3. Bing & Grondahl Collections

It is a metal (brass appearance) victorian style home with windows cut into the metal. The viewer can then observe what is inside the home.

There is paper/photographs behind the six boundaries depicting the inside the home. There are detailed views of the living quarters and of people.

One side of the home is inscribed ©Bing & Grondahl Collections. The bottom of home is inscribbed “The First Victorian Doll House Ornament”. The remaining side is inscribed “Made in USA”.

The top of house has no inscription. There is (what appears to be) the original gold thread hanger. This ornament is approximately 2 5/16" wide and 3 5/8" tall, including the round bail (hanger) which is part of the house. The width is approx 1/4”.

This was purchased at an estate sale. The original box is not included. Additional Views:
